National Honor Society

The National Honor Society is the leader among educational organizations that promotes recognition of students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Membership in the Columbia High School National Honor Society is an honor bestowed upon a student during the Spring semester of Junior Year. Selection for candidacy is by a Faculty Council and is based on outstanding scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Once invited to join NHS, candidates have the responsibility to continue to demonstrate these qualities by participating in the activities of the organization and maintaining high academic standards. Candidates who meet all requirements for membership will be inducted during Spring of their Senior Year.
