Columbia High School is proud to recognize our Boys Varsity Basketball Head Coach Mark Sandstrom. On May 3rd, Coach Sandstrom was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Coach Sandstrom has been at the helm of Columbia Boys Basketball for 17 seasons, and has an overall record of 327-196, including 6 Regional titles.

Congratulations to Micah James, who signed to continue his academic and baseball career at Lewis and Clark Community College!

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the mothers, grandmothers, great grandmothers, and all of those being celebrated in our Eagle family today!

We had such a great day celebrating the Class of 2025 today!
It started with the Senior Breakfast and Senior Celebration and continued with the Senior Signing Event. The Class of 2025 should be proud of their accomplishments so far! Many, many scholarships ($884,055 for the first year of college alone), students entering the military, the workforce, students continuing their athletic and academic careers.....you name it!
Celebrations continue next week when the seniors walk through the elementary schools, have graduation practice, and finally, the big event......GRADUATION on Sunday, May 18th!

Believe it or not, tomorrow is the last day of school for the Class of 2025!
Tomorrow we will celebrate our graduating Senior class with some special events.
This will start with the Senior Breakfast. After breakfast is the Senior Celebration, where we will celebrate the academic achievements of the senior class, including department awards and scholarships.

After the Senior Celebration will be the Senior Signing Event, which starts at around 10:15am. Here we will celebrate the post-high school plans for the Class of 2025, including college, military, and workforce! Since there is about an hour or so between the first event and the second event, the first stream will end. Be sure to use the second link to watch the Senior Signing Event when it begins at 10:15.
